Living Bridges serves local families
and impoverished children of Latin America. Our role in the community is to build a
bridge of love between children in Latin America and loving families in the United
States.

The bridge is anchored in Mexico by a network of dedicated Mexican volunteers working
in the orphanages. In the U.S., the bridge is anchored by adoptive families,
parish
communities, business leaders, professionals and collaborating service organizations
who share our vision for hospitality, sponsorship, adoption and Transcultural education.

One way we build this
bridge is through our Hosting program. We accomplish this by a reverse
mission,
bringing the isolation, poverty and abandonment of orphaned children to our doorstep.
Every summer for six weeks Living Bridges offers children from Mexican orphanages,
ages six through eleven, an opportunity to visit the United States, experience a different
culture, learn new skills while living with local families, and in some cases, be internationally
adopted.
